Let me take you on a journey back in time, to the days when the latest and greatest gadgets were often out of reach, but one treasured possession in our home was a family camcorder. The sheer delight of capturing a moment, reliving it over and over on that small screen, felt nothing short of magical. To me, it was like bottling a fragment of reality and preserving it on that tiny tape, forever etched in memory.

As the years went by, that excitement blossomed into something extraordinary. In the halls of middle and high school, I found myself immersed in the world of photography, entrusted with the task of capturing the essence of those precious school years for our yearbook. It was here that the seeds of my passion were sown.

When college beckoned, I took a leap of faith. My first camera, patiently waiting on layaway at a local pawn shop, became the catalyst for my creative journey. In my free moments, I began capturing the stories of friends and acquaintances through my lens. And in those moments, I rediscovered that same intoxicating passion that had ignited my childhood fascination with that old family camcorder.

That passion, that undeniable drive to capture and share the beauty of life, became the foundation of Black Xposure.
